基於個人原因，本中心主席梁詠恩計劃於2022年底移居加拿大。由於未能覓得合適的接任人選，加上在港幹事人數不足三人，無法維持日常運作，經2022年5月23日內部會議決議，本中心將註銷香港社團註冊及銀行戶口。餘下資金將專用於維持網站及網上服務，直至用盡為止；如有不足，將由主席私人墊付。其後，跨性別資源中心仍會竭力有限度維持線上運作。

For personal reasons, the Chairperson of the Transgender Resource Center, Joanne Leung, plans to relocate to Canada by the end of 2022. As no suitable successor has been found, and the number of executive committee members in Hong Kong has fallen below three, making it impossible to maintain daily operations, the internal meeting held on May 23, 2022 resolved that the organization will deregister its Hong Kong society registration and close its bank account. The remaining funds will be used to maintain the website and online services until they are exhausted; any shortfall will be personally covered by the Chairperson. Thereafter, the Transgender Resource Center will continue to do its utmost to maintain limited online operations.
